Horses On The Beach is a family-run attraction located in the city of Corpus Christi, right on the shores of the Gulf of Mexico. 

This unique experience allows you to ride a horse along the picturesque beaches of Corpus Christi.

It’s a super memorable adventure for families, couples and even solo travelers.

When you visit Horses On The Beach, you’ll be greeted by a team of friendly staff who will guide you through the entire process. 

The horseback rides are suitable for all skill levels, from beginners to experienced riders.

As you ride along the beach, expect to enjoy stunning views of the ocean and feel the gentle sea breeze.

You may even be able to spot some local wildlife like birds and sea turtles. 

Another bonus is that some of the horses here are famous! Yep, a few of them have appeared in Western movies.

Their standard package costs $79 per person at the time of writing.

Horses On The Beach operates every day of the week year-round and offers various rides throughout the day.

Typically, the first rides start at around 10am and the last ride starts at 6:45pm/7pm but this does vary depending on the season.

It’s best to make a reservation to ensure you get the time slot that works best for you.

Weight Limits: There is a weight limit of 250 pounds per rider.

Age Requirements: There is a minimum age of 8 years old to take part in horseback riding along the beach.

Safety: Helmets are provided and all riders are encouraged to wear them for safety but only riders aged 12 or under are required to wear them.

Weather Conditions: Rides are weather-dependent. In case of bad weather, rides may be rescheduled or canceled for safety.

The rides are available year-round but hours do vary with the seasons. 

During spring and summer (from Memorial Day to Labor Day), they open Wednesday to Sunday from 11am till 5pm.

During the off-season, they open Friday to Sunday from 11am till 5pm.
